Our owner and CEO, Milly Baker, is a local and studied at Ashby Grammar School. She acquired La Zouch Tanning in December 2023 at just 21 years old, after receiving a tanning session as a birthday present. This was enough to light a fire of passion and enthusiasm to help others achieve a safe, stunning and healthy all year round tan.
In just a year the salon has been transformed. After winning an Englands Business Award, we have been featured on ITV News and are now one of the top eight salons in the UK.
Milly loves to help clients understand the tanning process and we now stock some of the very best sun bed creams available. We’ve something to work with any skin type.
We only offer the very best sun bed technology, with beds cleaned after every use and re-tubed on a regular basis. Milly’s training at Shine 2024 for indoor tanning professionals by the Sunbed Association ensures that she is well versed in responsible and safe tanning as well is being up to date on industry changes and guidelines.
Milly has also introduced a loyalty card scheme, gift cards and the option to buy sunbed session packages that can be used over twelve months.
